Bayit Chayim was founded in 2004 by Caroline Oostrom & the late Sandy Stern (who also founded Canadians Against Anti-Semitism) in response to a deplorable lack of suitable maternity & infant care for young expectant mothers and their children in Israel. Bayit Chayim’s has partnered with Be'ad Chaim, a registered Israeli non-profit Humanitarian Organization providing services like education, information, on-going emotional help and counseling for these young expectant mothers in Israel as they prepare for the birth of their baby. We are also helping 450 mothers and babies with tangible and practical help like alternative housing during pregnancies, baby supplies such as crib, stroller, baby bath, baby carrier, and cloths for their infants including formula and diapers. Your support will positively impact not only the lives of young expectant mothers in Israel, but Israeli society in general. House of Life's partnership with Be'ad Chaim allows donors and sponsors here in Canada to provide for these babies that would have otherwise been aborted.
