September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day. On this day, we honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.
Wearing orange is one way to show support, and, along with reflecting on the history and impacts of residential schools, we take steps toward a more understanding and compassionate future.
