I'm late posting. I got up, dressed and went to the Farmer's market for some scones and chocolate covered strawberries....my Saturday, my treat to myself 😄. Then, I went to our community restaurant for breakfast. I'm not a frequent visitor to the restaurant but it's Saturday and I was dating myself while Michael (my sweetheart) slept. The menu said 3 eggs and hashbrowns $11. Meat is $2. extra ( bacon, sausage or ham) and!!!!! $1. for any veggies (onions, mushrooms or peppers)
I asked the waitress about the omelettes, and she said, yes you have to pay extra for meats and veggies.
I said I'm not buying scrambled eggs and call it an omelette with panfries! Most restaurant menus indicate; Bacon omelette, sausage omelette, ham omelette or veggie omelette, with a price..... I left! I'm not eating there again! My rant about my morning!
