Our preschoolers have been learning all about classroom pride and taking responsibility for their space! 🧹🪣

We’ve started practicing putting garbage away, wiping our chairs and tables after we eat, putting our dishes away, and even sweeping the floor! ✨

So moms and dads — you officially have two extra helping hands at home now... don’t let them fool you! 😉💪

We’re celebrating International Pickle Day and we could not be more excited! 🥒💚
Wear green and get ready to join in the fun as we celebrate all things pickle.

We’ll be learning about the Christmas pickle tradition, and we’ll even be trying some pickle-themed snacks and drinks!

Yes — it’s officially Battle River School Division’s Winter Break starting Monday! 🎉

We built off the children’s interest in blowing pom poms with straws from earlier in the week and turned it into a painting activity today! 🎨✨

The kids were entertained for over an hour — exploring how different sizes of pom poms created unique designs and noticing how each one needed a different strength of breath to move across the paper.

It was a great mix of creativity, science, and fun — all through simple play and curiosity! 💨🖌️💭

At our center, we believe visuals are a powerful tool for all children — not just those who are neurodivergent. Every classroom in our program uses visuals in different ways to support learning, communication, and independence.

Visuals help children understand routines, express their needs, and make sense of the world around them. Whether it’s a picture schedule, labeled spaces, story cues, or visual reminders, these tools give children the confidence to participate and succeed.

Each classroom has visuals tailored to the age and developmental stage of the children — from simple images for our youngest learners to more detailed charts and cues for our older groups.

By incorporating visuals throughout our environments, we create inclusive spaces where every child can thrive, feel secure, and build strong foundations for future learning.

Sometimes the simplest things make the biggest smiles 💕 Today’s spontaneous fun turned into an epic Battle of the Pom Poms! 🏒✨ With just some straws and fluffy pom poms, we had our very own mini hockey game — full of laughter, teamwork, and a whole lot of giggles.
