Due to the extreme cold that we have been dealing with, we have had to make some adjustments to service for Feb 19th, 2026.

There will be no school handivans operating in the morning of Feb 19th. The BRSD transportation site has not updated yet but all school age riders should have gotten a call or text from the office.

Handivan ramp service will be suspended temporarily.

Camrose Community bus ramp service will be suspended until midday.

Please call the office if either of the suspensions or the cancellations affect you or your child.

The staff of Rose City Handivan are deeply saddened to hear of the recent events at Tumbler Ridge.

We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to all the families and friends impacted by this tragedy.

The Camrose Community Bus and the Centra Cam handivan will remain operational.

There’s white stuff on the ground today so that’s my cue to make an announcement!

CHRISTMAS LIGHT TOURS ARE BACK!

The dates have been set and are filling quickly!

Last year, 122 indviduals enjoyed some spectacular light displays with donations recieved through the Sponsor A Rider program. We are aiming for more people and more trips this year!

If you or your business would like to Sponsor A Rider, donations may be sent by email transfer to coordinatorhandivan@gmail.com, using the password “Lights2025”.
We happily accept donations in person at the office or arrangements can be made to pick up your donation!

Contact the office @ 780.672.8777 for details or to provide your contact information for a tax receipt.

Please be advised that the Handivan office will be undergoing some repairs this week so the telephone service will be intermittent.

Please leave only ONE voicemail and we will get back to you as soon as we are able to.

We anticipate that the repairs will be completed by October 6.

It’s been a minute since my last post but that’s only because we have been busy!

Tomorrow is back to school for all of our favorite little people! Our drivers are excited to see you all and I’m sure there are more than a few parents who are ready for a return to routines and schedules. Me too!

On another front, we are excited to join with the folks at Save On Foods and Seasons to “Stuff a Bus” for the local food bank.
Come down and check out the deals (I heard something about case lot sales..) and let’s help to restock the shelves over at the food bank.
