Here’s how to release the heaviness and reconnect with your peace.
🎄Take a moment to close your eyes and focus on your breath. Inhale for 4 counts, hold for 4, exhale for 6. Repeat 3 times. This calms your nervous system and brings you back to the present.
🎄Write down or say out loud:
“I feel ____ because ____.”
Acknowledging your emotions helps to release their intensity. Be gentle with yourself—it’s okay to feel this way.
🎄Protect your energy by saying no to things that feel draining. Ask yourself, What do I need to feel supported today? Then honor it.
🎄Release the buildup through movement, journaling, or talking with someone you trust. Allow the emotions to flow rather than staying bottled up.
🎄Shift your focus by identifying 3 things you’re grateful for in this moment. Gratitude helps bring balance to heavy emotions.
🎄The holidays can be intense, but you have the power to ground yourself. Take it one breath, one step at a time.
