Here’s what one of our clients recently shared:

“My massage therapist was a woman by the name of Tara at Wildflower Massage in Canmore. I’ve had 50+ massages and always come away saying, ‘I wish they knew more about how to make my body feel better.’

I wanted a massage therapist who wanted to help me. Not just work my muscles but one who wanted to help me feel better. Tara’s the one.

As an Exercise Physiologist and president of a virtual personal training company since 1991, I think I’ve got a good handle on what makes a good massage therapist. Starting with the following:

- Asking what would be appropriate for your body
- Figuring out exactly what areas need to be worked
- How much pressure to use during a session
- Working your body through specific ROM (range of motion) movements to figure what areas and patterns need to be worked and changed
- As a therapist, having them be expert enough to tell you what you need
- Offer modalities that might help (massage ball)

Tara did all of those and more. By the end of the massage, I’d felt better than I’ve felt in years. Walked in with many different issues and Tara figured out and worked on each in an hour to fix them all, incredible. I jokingly told her I was there for a three hour massage. I wish…

I’m amazed that even after 7 hours and a long car ride to the airport, I still feel great.
