~How can love heal?
Acceptance.
Acceptance does not mean you are against change or ignoring something painful that causes you suffering. It means you are honoring the truth of your experience in its entirety. It is an expression of love different from our traditional views of love. You can love and have compassion for your painful experiences, and still be angry and sad about them at the same time. You then need to go a step further and accept the angry and sad emotions by also loving them. The final puzzle piece is rubbing acceptance on the part of you that may feel guilt about wanting to change your situation in life. Love that you desire change and that there is a part of you that is not okay with how life is going. In this way you are coming from love 360 degrees.
Let’s stop sipping spirits to numb our pain. Let’s start living life in alignment with love. There is nothing supportive that can be lost and everything good to gain.
