At U-Turn, we stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities across Canada. We remember. We listen. We acknowledge the ongoing impacts of trauma, loss, and injustice.

The red dress is more than a symbol—it represents the absence of thousands of voices that should still be with us today.

🚨 Public Safety Alert – Newfoundland & Labrador 🚨

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is warning the public after a dangerous new synthetic opioid was found in the province.

The drug, known as cychlorphine, has been seized for the first time in N.L. and is believed to be extremely potent — even stronger than fentanyl.

⚠️ Key concerns:

● Found in pill form and looks like prescription hydromorphone (Dilaudid)

● No visible difference between fake and real pills

● Can be fatal in very small amounts

●May require multiple doses of naloxone (Narcan) to reverse an overdose

🚫 RCMP warns that taking drugs not prescribed to you is extremely dangerous, as counterfeit pills may contain hidden and deadly substances.

🆘 If you suspect an overdose:

Call 911 immediately
Use naloxone if available
Stay with the person until help arrives.

💙 Free naloxone kits are available at U-Turn and across the province.
