The contest had officially ended!

The winners of the 2025 Annual Garden Contest is - .✨Carbonear! ✨

Firstly, we would like to send out a huge thank you to our community, who has always supported us through contests we host, your love and kindness does not go unnoticed, we certainly couldn’t have won this contest with out you!

To our residents, who planted their own beautiful flowers in memory of loved ones, the flowers bloomed so beautiful and full adding extra love and warmth to our garden, a place to celebrate and always remember their loved ones.

Another huge thank you goes to our amazing maintenance man, Brent who went above and beyond bringing the fountain and flower displays to life for the residents to enjoy! Your hard work, dedication, skills and eye for detail is remarkable, we are thankful to have you!

To the amazing manager, Wanda. WOW.
Your unbelievable ideas and visions that came to life have certainly made a major improvement to our grounds, our residents have been in awe and it’s been a calming place to spend time to for them.
We are grateful and excited to see what the new vision is for next year!

And lastly, thank you to Lanes Retirement Living for hosting such amazing contests, putting everyone in the spirit of summer, holidays and bring everyone together to work with thinking caps on, you certianly know how to keep us on our toes!

We cant thank him enough for taking the time out today to come sing for our residents and boy, was it ever amazing!

The singalong, the dancing, the laughs was ringing throughout our halls all afternoons.
