Embracing the Tough Days & Tiny Wins 💪💫
I’ve been navigating a lot lately: my mom in and out of the hospital, setting healthier boundaries with loved ones and loosing some close relationships, juggling a second business (and feeling a bit stuck), and then throwing out my back—and yup, there are mornings I’ve barely rolled out of bed. It’s heavy. It’s exhausting. It’s real. I’ve felt defeated, like every door is closing, and my nervous system wants to freeze. 🌀
But growth doesn’t mean pretending it doesn’t hurt. I can intellectually see the lessons, but I also feel every bit of this. And that’s okay. I’m choosing to honor every emotion—anger, tears, relief, fatigue—and I’m reminding myself: this too shall pass. 🌧️➡️🌤️
Here are the small rituals that have helped me climb back up, one tiny task at a time:
Start with the smallest task: color a picture to relax the mind, then finish it. The tiny finish boosts dopamine and momentum. 🎨
Honor the feelings: name them, feel them, let them flow. Tears, anger, fatigue—they’re valid. 💧
Move what you can: even a gentle stretch or a short walk when possible helps the nervous system reset. 🚶♀️
Ask for support: reach out, share what you’re going through, and accept help. You don’t have to do this alone. 🤝
Remind yourself of resilience: “this too shall pass” is not a shrug—it’s a promise you’re choosing to keep. 🕊️
If you’ve felt this heavy too, you’re not alone. I’m sharing this to normalize the struggle, not to pretend it’s perfect. And I’d love to hear from you: what small, doable thing has helped you bounce back in the past? Drop your tips in the comments so we can lift each other up. 💬💛
