Briar Psychotherapy provides both couples therapy and individual therapy within Carleton Place, ON (virtual care is ON-wide). Reduced-cost care is available on request for eligible clients. Briar represents a practice where empathy, non-judgement, and humility are balanced with a willingness to welcome authenticity. My commitment is to work with you to challenge yourself in 'zooming out' just as often as we 'zoom in', in making space for humour, and in being realistic that life is hard enough without censoring yourself. It is my job to create the environment through which you can be put at ease with your honesty, and to lead with the same authenticity I hope to guide my clients towards. I hope to support couples and individuals in deepening their relationships, their discussions, and their self-value.
