In a time when many optical businesses come and go, our practice has been caring for the vision needs of Carleton Place and Ottawa residents since 1948. Dr. Connie Madigan-Swant joined the practice in 1991. Since that time, we have grown and now have three associates who help us provide eye care to all of our patients.

Did you know Ray-Ban was founded in 1937?! 😎 Their name and purpose being to ban the harmful rays of the sun.
In 1936 the ever-popular Aviator style frame was created with the military and aviation in mind. It’s First Pair Friday and we have two fantastic frames (and two fantastic ladies) to share with you!

Rachel has just graduated from Guelph with her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. She chose this fashionable Etnia Barcelona frame with hints of caramel to compliment her look.

Rylie is about to finish grade five and she’s looking forward to a fun summer. Her new KLIIK glasses look incredible on her and it was such a pleasure working with you both!

How did you spend your Friday afternoon? Well we went on an adventure today! Thanks to Dr. Dedhar and Dr. Madigan-Swant for a fantastic afternoon of fun. We took part in a pretty cool experience in the office (which we’ll share very soon…😉) then headed to Kanata for some snacks and bowling 🎳
