CLOSED! New UPDATE ON CHRIS at the bottom of this post.
♥️Dear followers,
Our friend and brother Chris Sawatsky, unfortunately suffered a medical emergency and needs our support. Early on December 27th Chris was admitted to hospital after experiencing stroke-like symptoms. Through investigations, it was discovered that Chris has a large brain lesion on his left side.
A biopsy was performed on Dec 28th and the results of that biopsy are still pending.
Once the results of the biopsy have come back, a decision can be made on how to manage the lesion.
Chris will be off work for an extended period of time, and will need some assistance financially to offset his time away from work. We are asking for your support to help Chris and his girls, if you are interested in helping Chris out, please donate to reginapwh@gmail.com with the e-transfer message as “Chris” when sending.
♥️Regina Paramedics with Heart will essentially be the “go fund me” in order for all of the donations to bypass a user fee. All donations will be sent to Chris in FULL & totals will be updated periodically as they come in to keep you amazing people in the loop.
❤️🩹UPDATE:
❤️🩹UPDATE: January 23 2024. Chris has now been in the hospital since December 27th 2023. Chris is in very good spirits but he is still in hospital and has a long road to recovery. He can understand messages and conversation but still has difficulty communicating, so if you text him he may not text back. He has been out for brief trips as well and would welcome visitors. He is currently on 5A at the Regina General Hospital.
Chris and his family want to express their gratitude at the love you have shown him and the money that has been raised. It is comforting to know that in hard times like these he has friends that will come through in such a big way.🫂
♥️UPDATE: January 30 2024. Straight from Chris. He posted a video & was able to get some sentences out! He still has a minimum couple weeks still in the hospital at Regina General 5A and eventually will be going to Wascana Rehab for further recovery.
As more information is received we will update all of you on Chris’s condition.
Thank you for helping out one of our own 🚑♥️
Please share.
