Today I will be attending .earth.and.fire.womens.fest as a Practitioner. This is something that is very new to me. I’ve never offered Mini Sessions in the public. I’m kind of nervous yet very excited. I’m really hoping that my menopause of a body will allow me to last the weekend. Going off of HRT my body has regressed hard and I’ve had all the symptoms of menopause and more. Im ever so grateful for for being the most kindest hostess/friend and in understanding what is going on with my crazy body. That said I will be taking this event day by day. I will have hours set up and take people 1/hour. I’m chatty and when we are in the healing modalities sometimes they are longer than 30 mins. Plus this will give me time in between to rest & hydrate & fuel up. I will have a few products with me as the heat plays a factor for sure. And of course I’m always there to chat. I cannot wait to connect and enjoy this wonderful festival. See you there.

A week from today I’ll be attending my first ever Women’s Festival as a Practitioner and a patron. I’m still figuring out my hours as I will also be attending to see a few presenters. I’m very excited/nervous for this but I know Steph well and know she is creating the most wonderful, comfortable, easy going, enriching sort of festival. I do believe there are still day passes available. Go to her page to find out more. The Specials I’m running will only for this weekend & only for the Patrons attending. I will have a sign up sheet (once I figure out my times) & a few products available too (this hot weather is not my products friends). It’s so easy to compare yourself to others. I’ve caught myself quite a bit lately doing this. It’s so easy to forget all the changes I’ve been through in the last two years & all of the extra stuff that’s been happening too. This past year I decided to devote my time to me & my own growth. As a person who’s been a single mom & a big part of the community, giving time to myself has felt selfish & wrong. I know this is just old conditioning that I’m breaking away from. I know this will take time, love, kindness & a whole lot of compassion. I’ve honestly been very out of sorts lately, don’t think the hrt I took helped & all the side effects I had etc. That just added to my already crazy pile of life. These last few weeks with the move, the flare, & side effects also kicked up my old fight or flight response real good too. So now I’m at the point in my own cycle/pattern that I’m coming back to me. I don’t really know what’s next for me, as I’m trying to just rest, ground & see what comes to me. I know the world is my oyster & I can do whatever I want but never really having this freedom totally puts me into a freeze state as well. What I know is the basics. My movement & meditation are key factors to my everyday. Playing & being creative are also my new non-negotiable’s as well as rest. Coming out of a 20 year long fight or flight is no easy task but I’m doing the best that I can. And baby steps matter. So here I go. Navigating the unknown is scary yet exciting. Catching myself with the comparing & reminding myself how far I’ve come is essential. Can’t wait to see what I find along the way. Thanks for being here on this adventure with me. I appreciate this safe space & do my best to provide it to others too. Peace, love & kindness to all.

So I’ve been fairly quiet on here as I’ve had quite a few other things on the go. Good things is I had family that came home to visit, I’ve been at it organizing my new space, been getting the last little ends tied up from the house & been busy with clients. The not so good things is realizing I was having almost all the side effects from the hrt pills I was taking and the toll it’s taking on my body. I also got so run down that I have a weird head cold/summer cold as well. I decided myself to go off the hrt, I was feeling so rough and not even close to myself. I’ve been off of them for about a week and lot of the side effects have subsided but some of my old symptoms have come back like the exhaustion. So I’ve been doing my best to take care of myself and with that I’m just not doing as much on here. I’ve blocked extra days off for July for myself as well. I’ve also been busy doing Meditations for another private group & prepping for the Festival I’m part of end of July. I’m not giving up on finding ways to get better. Yes it’s crappy that the first thing I tried didn’t work but this isn’t the end for me. I have a phone apt with my own dr next week and have plans to make an apt at a Menopause Clinic in the city. As always this all takes time. So I will be on here less as I take care of me. There will be delays in messages, best time to come get products is Wednesdays 5-7pm during the Peace Lily Market and you are always welcome to book online.
