We have a practicum student with us for the next three months (until the start of April). We are thrilled to have her join us and bring her skills, passion for learning, the field of social work and counselling and supporting folks to the barn.
Below is a write up about herself and her offerings during her practicum. If you would like more information on working with her through these next few months, send me a message and I can get you connected.
As I move into my final practicum, I’m stepping more fully into the work I offer.
My practice is therapeutic in nature, though not clinical social work or psychotherapy. It is equine-facilitated, trauma-informed, and domestic-violence-informed, grounded in relationship, embodiment, intuition, and presence. This work supports people in slowing down, reconnecting to themselves, and exploring healing through lived, relational experience rather than talk alone.
I facilitate sessions independently, with consultation and supervision as needed, and my approach is shaped by rural practice, lived experience, and deep respect for safety, consent, and pacing.
You may see me tagged in posts related to this work, which is currently offered at a student/practicum rate, as well as posts about full moon circles and other intentional gatherings that I facilitate. These offerings reflect the work I am growing into — relational, grounded, and community-rooted.
I’m grateful to be walking this path alongside the horses, the land, and the people who feel called into this kind of work. If this resonates, you’ll find more information shared through those spaces, you can message me directly, or connect with the women tagged below👌🫶
