An individual is illegally practising across . This person has been falsely posing as a Registered Massage Therapist/Massage Therapist (RMT/MT) using a stolen identity, under the pseudonym Lexie Foster. Her true identity is unknown, and she may also be operating under other names. She is not registered with CMTO and is not authorized to practise Massage Therapy in Ontario.

Please contact Toronto Police Services immediately if you have encountered this individual or recognize them in the photo seen here: https://bit.ly/4599r6R.

We urge the public to verify RMT’s/MT’s credentials using CMTO’s Public Register prior to booking an appointment for Massage Therapy treatment.

Public Health Ontario has issued an alert about multiple measles outbreaks across the province. Measles is a contagious respiratory infection that spreads by coughing or sneezing into the air and by touching eyes, nose, or mouth after encountering an infected surface. If you suspect you have been exposed to the virus, or have been advised to self-isolate, please contact your Public Health Unit and defer Massage Therapy treatment until symptoms are resolved.
