On Thursday Aug 28 we had a great bus trip to Moose Jaw to see the trains and automobile display at the Western Development Museum. We had a group of fantastic volunteers make this day possible. I would like to give a big salute and thank you to Lydia, Kathy, Sheri, Betty , and Barb . Also thank you to Manager Jeri for driving the bus!! We enjoyed Kentucky Fried Chicken for our lunch and thanks to Wes and Norlaine Voth who delivered it!
This is always a big day, but it’s very rewarding to see our residents enjoying it. It’s not only about the museum tour, we were able to see a lot of action going on for harvest and saw a unusual harvester in the Tuxford area. We look forward to our next adventure until then, enjoy our pictures.

As we continue to celebrate our 20th anniversary, we have made these memorial frames in honour of the Doctors that brought Iver Main to life, serving our seniors in and around the Central Butte area. Dr Iverson and Dr Mainprize joined forces to create a supportive level 1 and 2 care home in the heart of our town. Since then we have provided a home for over 200 residents and staffed over 50 workers, Mary Anne Theede being one of them. ♥️

Thank you to Hillary Steckler for a large bag of taber corn and thank you to Emrys Mcgill for a case of peaches.  Also thank you to those that have been bringing in garden produce, I saw Audrey King bring in some lettuce , Sandy and Darry Bathgate brought in some crab apples and I’m sure there’s others that I have not been there when the donations have come in, but we want to say thank you.

We would like to thank Kathy Russell and her husband Jim for inviting us to their farm, they along with some friends hosted us for a picnic lunch that they provided and entertainment. Pearl their horse was quite the spectacle. Thank you to our volunteers who helped transport us to the farm and get us all set up for lunch. Without the help of our volunteers, our residents wouldn’t get to places like this. What a fun day we had.Lorine

We are looking for Team Players!

Iver Main has a positive atmosphere radiating with happiness and contentment for staff and residents! We are looking for someone to help our home with resident care, making sure our residents feel comfortable and at home every day of the week!
We are a facility that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we need another team player to help with Evening Care Staff shifts. The preferred person would be willing to work any day of the week or on weekends. We offer incentives and perks for those willing to put in the time and effort to give our residents the care, love and respect they deserve.

Last Sunday ,July 27 was the Iver Main Places pancake breakfast held at Palliser Regional Park In conjunction with the Riverhurst Lions Club . The IMP board and volunteers did a fantastic job together. We are grateful for this fundraising opportunity and to the overwhelming support to those who came out to breakfast . Also an extra thanks to Jerry Gerbrandt who donated a portion of his pull ticket winnings back to Iver Main Places pancake. Hope to see you all out again on August 24 th when we do it all over again!

Iver Main Place held our second annual car show yesterday . We had a fantastic turnout with 15 registered vehicles. Special thank you to everyone who brought a car to display for our residents enjoyment. Also thank you to April and Pierre for giving rides in their electric Tesla. So neat to see the changes over the years from vehicles from the 1930s all the way up to 2026 .Again, thank you to our manager Jeri and our maintenance man Keenan and board member Jim Marks for their behind the scenes help. As always we had community support for our prizes and sponsorship for our barbecue. I will post the sponsors below . We are already planning for 2026’s car show, be sure to save the end of July next year to come and see what we have in store for you.
