I can’t express how happy I am… I met the little one and the family yesterday, and honestly, I didn’t really know what to expect.

I absolutely love what I do, and having such a fragile little being regulating themselves with me is a feeling like no other.

Sometimes I doubt whether what I do truly has impact, if I’m not just “one more” in the market… but days — or better, nights — like tonight remind me that I made a difference.

My secret? I think it’s genuinely loving what I do and connecting soul-to-soul with these tiny humans.

✨ Today is World Mental Health Day ✨

And it made me think about how often mothers are overlooked.

Sleep deprivation, daily overload, changes in our bodies, hormones all over the place…
It all takes such a heavy toll on our mental health.

Yet we keep trying to be perfect.
To raise perfect children.
To meet everyone’s expectations — and our own.

💭 Our mental health is not a luxury.
It’s a necessity.

I’ve learned to say no to the things that don’t serve me.
To slow down.
To listen to myself.

💤 One of the biggest challenges when it comes to sleep is knowing when to step in — and when not to.

We often don’t give our babies the space to learn how to self-regulate, to find their own position, their own way of falling asleep.

Yes!!! Of course, our arms will always be their favourite place — nothing compares to that comfort! 🤍

I’m not saying we should let them cry, not at all!! What I’m saying is that we need to allow them, give them time, and encourage them. We need to build self-confidence so they grow and believe in themselves .

IF we always keep our baby in our arms and never put them down, how will they ever learn to walk? 👣
