“I want to look at my husband again.”-sentence i hear from a mum and make me think...
Motherhood and the years we spend building a life with our person often push us into roles—mothers, caregivers, organizers of chaos. And somewhere along the way, our partner changes… and so do we.
It’s important to stop and really look at each other again.
With curiosity.
With the same interest we had in the beginning.
What do I love about him now?
What still connects us?
What moments still make us smile?
What makes us different now?
Because without the couple—before the parents—there is no family as we know it. The relationship needs to be nurtured. We need time for the couple. Time to reconnect, to talk, to touch, to see each other.
The couple came before the children.
What do you think about that?
