The one I could hide behind when the world felt too loud, too fast, or too much.
She was the calm in the chaos, the quiet strength behind every step I took.

She saw all my colors before I could even name them.
She believed in the parts of me I hadn’t grown into yet.
She spoke up for me when I didn’t have a voice
and stood tall beside me until I found it.

She fought tooth and nail to teach me how to read.
She never gave up on me, even when it was hard.
Her love was fierce, gentle, patient, and powerful.
