Note of thanks from the Morris family:

We, the family of the late Freeman Morris, would like to express our sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude to all who supported us through the loss of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.

Thank you to all those that attended the celebration of life in Nova Scotia, and the visitation and funeral service in Newfoundland. Thank you to those that sent cards, messages, flowers, food, or made a monetary donation in his memory. We appreciate your support and kindness during this difficult time.

A special thank you to Jennifer and her team at Oceanside Funeral Home. Your professionalism and compassion will always be remembered.

Thank you to Rev. Jane Allan and Rev. Faye Coffin for your beautiful service, to Wayne McNeil for the wonderful music, and to Justin Short for the heartfelt eulogy. You all ensured the funeral service was exactly what Freeman would have wanted.

The family of the late Freeman Morris (October 30th, 1956 - August 19th, 2025) would like to invite relatives and friends to Oceanside Funeral Home for visitations on Saturday, October 11th, from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 7:00-9:00 P.M.

A funeral service will follow on Sunday, October 12th at 2:00 P.M. at St. James Anglican Church, with interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery.
