With an announcement on Sunday, the province is going into a modified red alert period for the next 72 hours, ending after Wednesday, March 3rd.

During this time: "Only essential businesses and services will open to the public — medical, dental, child care, food, gas stations, banks and liquor stores." - Heather Morrison via CBC news site.

Under this definition massage therapy is a non-essential service. Thus, I will be contacting those scheduled during those 3 days to discuss options for rescheduling.

We will get through this.

Starting Sunday, February 28th until Sunday, March 14th we are entering another circuit breaker.

"Personal services will remain open on an appointment basis only, provided non-medical masks are worn at all times by staff and patrons."

My services will continue unhindered.

Please stay home if feeling unwell.

Circuit breaker announcement on Dec 6th. Breaker to last from Dec 7 - Dec 21.

My practice is now open!
I was also able to get day care! My Monday and Thursday schedules has not yet been fully opened in June as my family are still working on a morning schedule which works for all, while school is still ongoing.

Please wear a mask or a type of face-covering to each treatment session. Massage operates inside
of the 2 metres required to social distance, thus the mask is needed. I will be wearing a mask as well to help protect you.

As per Health PEI's phased plan, I will reopen in the beginning of Phase 2. I will be opening part-time as full-time daycare is not available, as of yet, and schooling is still ongoing. The May 22nd reopening date is all relying on if supplies of PPE have arrived in time.

As per Health PEI's newly phased plan dated April 28th, I will be able to reopen during Phase 2, beginning May 22nd, if supplies of PPE are available.

I am closed until then to help limit the virus, for your health, my health and the health of my family.

Together, by staying apart, we can restrict and conquer COVID 19.

I will be posting updates here as the phases roll out, or need to be changed.

In the wake of COVID, massage therapists have been asked to cease all 'non-essential' treatments. As this is the time for social distancing by maintaining a span of 2 meters (approx 6 feet) away from each other. In therapy treatments that distance is not possible.

So, I am closing during this time to help limit the virus, for your health, my health and the health of my family.

Together, by staying apart, we can restrict and conquer COVID 19.

I will be posting updates here and emailing individuals to reschedule once the current emergency has passed.
