If you are relying on your willpower, you’ve already lost
When it comes to fat loss and body composition changes we think we need to try harder or work harder, more discipline, more consistent, more perfect 👌🏼
And yes, there is an element of consistency and healthy habits that are required but in order to see progress and changes our bodies we do not need 100% consistency and perfection.
In reality we need 80% consistency longterm.
If you’ve been struggling to stay consistent over the weekends or longer than a few weeks, you don’t need more willpower, don’t dig deeper and try harder.
Instead reevaluate the strategy you have in place, because what you are doing is clearly not working!
Struggling with the all or nothing mentality? Add in a sweet treat or a pizza night during the week instead of saving all the fun for the weekend.
Allow “fun foods” into your macros or meal plans so you aren’t thinking of them as bad or off limits
As long as you are showing up consistently 80% of the time with your workouts, your nutrition, your sleep and self care - you win every time!
