A temporary Sexual Health, Options & Reproductive Services (SHORS) clinic is now open in Montague, bringing essential care directly to the community.

💜 Services include:
- STBBI (sexually transmitted and blood borne infections) testing
- Contraception counselling
- IUD and implant insertion/removal
- HIV prevention
- Pregnancy options and support

Health PEI is proud to celebrate Dr. Trevor Jain, who was recently presented with the Order of St. John. This prestigious honour recognizes his outstanding service and dedication to health and safety in our communities.

Dr. Jain is well known for his leadership in disaster medicine, his work in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Emergency Department, and his role as a trusted voice during the COVID-19 pandemic. He continues to share his expertise as an educator at UPEI, Dalhousie, and Memorial University.

📍 Exciting News for Eastern PEI! 🏥

The Province has officially acquired land in Three Rivers for the future Kings County Memorial Hospital and Community Health Centre, a major milestone in improving health care access for Kings County.

This 84.7 acre property near Montague will be home to new Community Health Centre and the future site of a new Kings County Memorial Hospital (KCMH).

We’re thrilled to celebrate Dr. Jessica Wood, whose vision and dedication led to the creation of a mobile eye clinic, a game-changing initiative that’s now receiving national attention from CTV! 🎉

Thanks to her successful application to the Health Innovation Fund, Dr. Wood’s mobile clinic is now helping seniors in Prince County access vital eye care, right from the comfort of their long-term care facility. This is innovation in action, and it’s making a real difference in people’s lives. 💙
