🎉 Honouring Years of Service 🎉

From new beginnings to decades of dedication, Health PEI teams continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Islanders every day. Their compassion, commitment, and resilience are what keep health care strong.

Last week, we were proud to celebrate staff in the Summerside region who are taking the leap into retirement. We also recognized team members celebrating 20 to 40 years of service in health care.

Thank you and congratulations on this incredible milestone!
Stay tuned as we continue to celebrate our teams throughout May. đź’™

📚 Did you know 80% of learning is visual?

One in four school-age children has a vision problem—and many don’t even realize it. Regular eye exams are essential for success in the classroom.

The Program for Elementary Eye Care helps cover the costs of annual eye exams and up to 3 pairs of glasses, if needed, for children in grades 1 to 6.

✅ Book your child’s eye exam today!

Paramedic Services Week in Canada (May 17–23) recognizes the vital role paramedics play in strengthening our communities.

This year’s theme, “Improving Outcomes, Together,” highlights how paramedics contribute not only to emergency response, but also to public health, community care, and support for vulnerable populations. We acknowledge the dedication and lifesaving work of these frontline professionals.

Thank you to our paramedic partners for the care, expertise, and compassion you bring every day.
