I have to take a minute to say something about my pharmacy team. For years, nearly 3,000 South Shore area residents had no primary care provider. When that happens, people lose access to other parts of the healthcare system too and navigating all aspects of the system becomes more difficult. That’s a very scary place for people to be. The team at South Shore Pharmacy has always been there to help whether that meant providing healthcare advice, helping direct patients to other levels of care or helping someone find their way through the system. I’m pleased to say with the Pharmacy Plus program and our clinic’s success, more of our patients are able to receive the care they need when they need it.

The South Shore Pharmacy family is sadden by the passing of George Auld. George and his wife, Neila, were the founders of South Shore Pharmacy. Without their vision and decades of hard work we wouldn’t be where we are today. George dedicated countless hours over many decades looking after the people of the South Shore. He did it so well as he truly enjoyed caring for you all. We are indebted to him for his years of service. Our hearts are with Neila, Blaine and Evan at this difficult time.
