We always host a "Captain's Dinner" at the end of our Cruise month. This year we visited Budapest, Monterrey Mexico 🇲🇽, Ireland 🇮🇪,and Bosnia 🇧🇦. The meal was prepared by our kitchen staff, we enjoyed hibiscus salad, creamy chicken breast with a paprika sauce with roasted red potatoes, carrots with honey herb butter and for dessert an overlapping of vanilla cream and smooth vanilla cake( so yummy). We would like to thank Malcolm Beaton for playing our Captain plus our amazing staff for helping make this an evening to remember.

Our last place to visit during our "cruise month" was Medjugorje a village in Bosnia. Barb did a presentation by showing a video of one of her trips there( she was there 3 times) and lots of pictures for the residents to look at. The residents had lots of questions to ask and she answered everyone of them. Such an interesting place to visit. Thank you Barb! 🇧🇦

Cecilia did a presentation on her home town Monterrey, Mexico 🇲🇽. The residents really enjoyed learning new things during our cruise month. The residents enjoyed a treat in the dining room after she finished her presentation! Thank you Cecilia❤️

HAPPY ST PATTY'S DAY ☘️🥞☘️We were treated to some yummy treats 😋 that were green in color to celebrate the day! Cindy did so trivia with them while they enjoyed their treat! Hope everyone had a fantastic St Patty's day ☘️

Our first visit this year for cruise month was Budapest. Our first presenters was Diane McQuaid, she talked mainly about their Christmas market. The key highlights was the daily light shows, artisan crafts, Hungarian food and mulled wine. She showed pictures and answered all the questions the residents had. They were then treated to tea and her favorite cookie she tried at the market they were called coconut balls. Fernanda from our kitchen made them and she did a perfect job!

Exercise is so important for any age. These residents come 3 times a week and smile the whole time. Can't wait for the ice to be gone from the side walks and we can add outdoor walking to our exercise program 👟🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
