✨UPDATE✨

In recognition of Trans Awareness Week 2025, PEERS Alliance is pleased to announce an addition to our flag-raising series across the province. On Wednesday, November 19th, 2025, we will be raising a flag in the Town of Kensington.

This is an important opportunity to affirm the lives of transgender and gender-diverse people and raise visibility for the challenges they continue to face.

Every four hours, someone in Canada is diagnosed with HIV. But almost half of Canadians don’t know that HIV rates have increased in the last five years.

Health inequities fuel the epidemic and create barriers for people to access HIV testing and medication. Health is a human right. That means access to HIV testing, prevention and treatment options at zero cost.

This World AIDS Day, we've partnered with to raise awareness about Canada’s growing HIV epidemic. Get the facts at CANFAR.com.

Whether positive, negative, or unknown,
each one of us has an HIV status.

Knowing your status is a way to take control of your
health, protect yourself, your partners and your
community, and access treatment or prevention options
early.

This , we’re joining &
in the ‘Do you see me?’ campaign –
advocating for everyone to see the person, not the
status. Explore & learn more at CANFAR.com.
