Hummingbirds in our field in August. You can hear them before you see them! 😊 I've been keeping the Monarda (Bee Balm) deadheaded so it will rebloom; it seems to be their favorite!

The heatwave is over and it was a Beautiful Day on PEI today! Took these photos this evening in our field. The Sea Holly is starting to bloom as well as our Coneflowers. They're Butterfly Magnets along with our Grasses! Loving Summer! :)

Thanks for the Memories! We are Officially Retired from Lovegrass Farm! We met some Great Folks over the years who Enjoy Gardening as much as we do. Will Miss seeing them and catching up every Spring! Hope we've passed on the Love of Ornamental Grasses to lots of Folks from the Maritimes! Hope to show you photos of our Gardens in the future as we now will have the time to Renew our old beds and make New ones!

Our three year old Willow cuttings are growing well this Spring and coloring up nicely despite little rain.

Our grasses have grown quickly this year. Some photos from our field today; May 28th. June 2nd is our CLOSING DAY! Last day for plant pick ups. Ten Varieties still available. Please message or email for a flyer of what varieties we have left.

Photos of Miscanthus Silberfeder in our garden in September and November. They make a great Hedge or Specimen Plant at 7 ft. tall in flower.

I love putting our Ornamental Grasses in Pots for Summer/Fall Display. There are two Prairie dropseed and one Panicum Shenandoah in this photo plus some Allium in a pot behind. I had all our varieties of Panicum, Miscanthus Gracillimus and Variegatus and Little Bluestem in pots last year and was Pleased with the Look! Looking forward to planting up many more of them this Summer!

Willow Wreaths I made from our various Willows and Osier Dogwood. No wire was used. Attached greenery and dried orange slices with h**p twine.
