AVC Diagnostic Services Diagnostic Services provides support to veterinarians and researchers in Atlantic Canada and around the world, processing more than 375,000 tests annually.

Diagnostic Services offers quality tests and services across eight laboratory sections, encompassing domestic, aquatic, exotic and wildlife species. Diagnostic Services strives to provide convenient, quality, timely services backed by state of the art equipment, qualified and experienced professionals and a commitment to value your business needs by offering a breadth of routine and innovative veterinary tests and services.

Since 1986, Diagnostic Services has provided expert testing for aquaculture, pet fish, and aquatic research across Atlantic Canada. Aquatic Diagnostic Services (ADS), a division since 1996, specializes in comprehensive finfish and shellfish testing. 🐟🦞🐠🦀

Led by Dr. Dave Groman (Section Head) and Dr. Ginevra Brocca, our team offers pathology, virology, toxicology, and more. Congratulations to Dr. Groman on his Snieszko Distinguished Service Award and to Dr. Brocca on passing her American College of Veterinary Pathologists exam!

ADS has also been active in diagnosing MSX disease in oysters, partnering with the Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans. 🦪
