On June 13, National LTC Day, we’re joining to celebrate the Canadians who make LTC their home and those who work to support them.

We’re excited to welcome families, friends, and community members to tour our space, meet our wonderful team, and experience what makes our community special.

The open house will be from 12-2pm. We will also be hosting a resident and staff BBQ from 11:30-1pm. The BBQ will be open to families and guests from 12-1pm, with a suggested donation of 5.00 dollars minimum – all proceeds support resident programs!

💙 Join us at The Mount for a fun evening of felting, all while supporting the important work of the Alzheimer Society of Prince Edward Island! 💙

Due to the high interest in the needle-felted forget-me-not pins that our resident crafters made for last year’s fundraising raffle, we thought it would be even more fun this year to invite people to make their own! All proceeds from this workshop will go toward “The Mount Walk & Rollers” team fundraising efforts for the 2025 IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s. 🙌🏻

………

The details:

🗓️When & Where: 6:30pm, Monday May 19 in The Mount Library

💵Cost: By donation — all proceeds will go toward the 2025 Walk for Alzheimer’s! Cash donations will be accepted at the event, or you can donate to our team online here: http://www.alzgiving.ca/goto/Mount

👉Registration: Please email Hayley at activities@themountcommunity.ca if you plan on joining us, so that we can prepare accordingly!

……..

Every dollar raised makes a real difference — helping to fund vital programs, support services, and research that provide hope and assistance to individuals and families whose lives are touched by dementia, and to help us all become a more supportive, understanding community. 🧠💙

Hope to see you there!
