Pub Bartenders
➡Pub is currently open Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:00-3:00pm
➡Must be 18+
➡Required to complete Smart Serve certification

Hair Salon Porters
➡Various days and times available

Crocheting / Knitting
➡An individual or group of people that would be willing to help crocheting/ knit some lap blankets for our residents
➡An individual or group of people to run a knitting/ crocheting group with residents

All volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application, submit proof of a 2-step Tuberculosis (TB) skin test and submit a Vulnerable Sector Police Check (18+).

Wildfire smoke is causing or expected to cause poor air quality and reduced visibility in Chatham-Kent. Poor air quality may persist through today (July 14, 2025) and possibly into Tuesday (July 15, 2025) for some areas.

CK Public Health has issued a Heat Warning effective July 11th-17th.

Heat related illnesses are serious and can not only affect young people, people with chronic illnesses and healthy people but the elderly as well!

⚠️ Please exercise a HIGH degree of caution if you take a resident outside during this Heat Warning ⚠️

➡️A sunscreen dispenser is located outside of the RVG Courtyard. Residents are strongly encouraged to utilize sunscreen, stay out of the sun, drink plenty of fluids and avoid strenuous activities.

Environment Canada has issued an Extended Heat Warning beginning Friday, July 11, 2025 through Thursday, July 17, 2025.
