Jaime started her career as a paramedic in the GTA at the age of 24. She spent nearly 12 years on the roads of Peel Region helping people in emergency situations. She decided to leave the “fast life” and moved out to Chatham in July of 2017 while she was attending her second year at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, the most prestigious and rigorous osteopathic school in Canada. Jaime is currently finishing her 4th year of schooling at the CAO. She has over 1000 hours of supervised osteopathic clinical experience and over 15,000 hours in emergency medicine working with patients of all demographics. While Jaime has given up working in EMS, she is now able to follow her new passion full time in her private clinic in Chatham, helping people in a different way.
Jaime has been certified by her school, and insured with practitioner liability insurance to perform such techniques as myofascial release, cranial sacral therapy, muscle energy (strain and counterstrain techniques), oscillatory ligamentous release, and ligamentous articular release. All of these techniques when applied with osteopathic methodology and principles can assess and address a multitude of complaints in a gentle and effective way.
