Today we had the honour of attending Pastor Mike Mendler’s induction service as he steps into his new role as Lead Pastor at Northshore Community Church in Belle River.

We are incredibly proud of Pastor Mike. His heart for the Gospel, his dedication to people, and his willingness to serve are evident in everything he does.

Pastor Mike, we are praying for you, your family, the ministry, and the entire community as you begin this new season. May God use you in mighty ways to reach your congregation and all those you encounter with truth, love, and hope.

Congratulations Pastor Mike. We stand with you and believe God is just getting started.

What an amazing day serving at THE GIFT this year! ❤️🎁

Our men from Journeys Recovery Home had the opportunity to volunteer, and it was powerful to see our whole community come together with generosity, compassion, and unity. The amount of donations, the teamwork, and the smiles made it clear that Chatham-Kent truly has a heart for helping others.

We were grateful to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with so many amazing volunteers, churches, families, and organizations all working toward the same goal… making sure people in our community feel seen, supported, and cared for.

It was a blessing for our men to be a part of something bigger than themselves, and we are already looking forward to next year.

Chatham-Kent, you showed up. And it was beautiful. 💙🤍💚

A huge shout out and thank you to Gregory Drive Alliance Church for your incredible ministry and heart for missions. We were honoured to come alongside you as volunteers to help load the truck with boxes.

Because of your generosity, so many children in the Philippines will receive assorted shoe boxes filled with supplies, toys, and essentials. These gifts bring hope, joy, and the love of Christ right to those in need.

Thank you for showing the hands and feet of Jesus in such a tangible and powerful way. ❤️🎁🌍

And thank you to our men on program for stepping up and helping.

What an incredible day with our brothers. Today we had the privilege of hearing Otis share his testimony, and we could not be more proud of the man God is shaping him into. His courage, honesty, and growth are a reminder that Jesus truly transforms lives.

A huge thank you as well to Pete and Sam for sharing their powerful testimonies. Each story spoken today carried hope, strength, and the unmistakable fingerprints of God’s grace.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be invited into such a beautiful gathering. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do — walking together, lifting each other up, and witnessing the goodness of God in the lives of His people.

We are living in a time where strong, dependable, Christ centred men are needed more than ever. Men who lead with courage, serve with humility, and walk in integrity. The upcoming Stand Up Men Conference is an opportunity for us to be equipped, strengthened, and sharpened alongside our brothers in the faith.

These moments remind us that recovery isn’t only about hard work and discipline; it’s also about community, joy, and learning how to have fun again. Grateful for every step forward and every memory made.

🔥🎉 It’s that time again! 🎉🔥

We’re so excited to invite you to Journeys Recovery Home’s 2nd Annual BBQ happening Saturday, August 2nd at Kingston Park!

Last year was such a blast — amazing food, laughs, sunshine, and most importantly, incredible support from all of you. We’re beyond grateful for the love we received and we’re hoping for an even bigger and better turnout this year.

🍔 BBQ is from 11AM to 3PM
🎟️ Tickets are $15 at the door (kids under 12 are FREE)
📍 Kingston Park- St. Claire St and Paxton Dr, Chatham

💥 This year’s silent auction is packed thanks to the generosity of so many local people and businesses. From gift baskets to service packages and more, there’s something for everyone. The auction wraps up at 2PM, and we’ll be ending the day with a 50/50 raffle you won’t want to miss.

Whether you came last year or are thinking about it for the first time, come out, bring your friends and family, and enjoy an afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun in support of a cause that’s close to our hearts. 💛
