Meal prep day over here 🥞🥒🥬

I spent a little time today prepping food for the week using the meal plan from the Midlife Method membership — and honestly this is what makes everything feel easier.

Those pancakes in the first photo?

They’re protein pancakes and they taste like normal pancakes… just way more filling and way better for my blood sugar. These are my grab-and-go breakfasts or afternoon “I need something now” snacks for the week.

And the second photo is my veggie prep for lunches and dinners:

• cucumber
• red cabbage
• red pepper
• plus rice already made
• and a simple sauce from the plan

And tomorrow morning?

I’m starting my day with that Strawberry Shortcake Protein Smoothie you see here 🍓

It’s thick, creamy, and actually keeps me full — not one of those “hungry again in 20 minutes” smoothies.

This is what I love about this way of eating — once a few things are prepped, meals basically build themselves. Toss it in a bowl, add protein, done.

Well… the bug that’s been going around finally knocked on my door.
Between that and dealing with anemia, my body said, “sit down.”
I’m taking my vitamin C and D tablets, adding some elderberry support, resting lots, and letting my system catch up.
