CKHA invites you to join us for our Annual Memorial Service, dedicated to honoring and remembering those who have experienced pregnancy loss.

This burial service includes all pregnancy losses from June 2025 to May 2026. However, anyone who has ever been touched by a pregnancy loss is welcome to attend and find comfort alongside other families who share a similar journey.

🗓️ Date: Friday, June 5
⏰ Time: 1:30 p.m.
📍 Location: Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham (Gravesite)

A short, non-denominational ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m., concluding with the burial of the infant casket. The casket will be present on a special stand during the service, and attendees will be invited to come forward to place a hand or a flower on it if they wish.

If you plan to attend, please let us know by contacting CKHA Professional practice at ckhaprofessionalpractice@ckha.on.ca or 519-352-6401 ext. 5100

We had a wonderful time connecting with students at "The Pines" Volunteer Fair! 🤝

With over 50 students stopping by, we loved sharing all the ways youth can give back to their community. A big highlight of the day was introducing students to our Hello Mellow program—showing them how easy it is to sign up, come over, and engage with our patients through music. 🎶

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with Kathryn and learn more about making a difference.

Missed us at the fair? It’s not too late to join our volunteer team!

Check out the new signage at our Chatham site! 😍

Following a unanimous vote on verbiage by our Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC), the official "Main Entrance • Entrée Principale" sign is up and looking sharp above the newly renovated doors.

A big thank you to the PFAC team for their guidance on the design, and to the facilities team for putting the finishing touches on our new front entrance! 🙌

We kindly remind the community that our Emergency Departments are here for urgent and emergency care needs.

Critically ill patients will remain the priority. Patients attending the Emergency Department at CKHA for non-emergency ailments could experience longer wait times than usual.

Please seek care for non-emergency needs in community settings where possible, such as your family physician or local walk-in medical clinic to help alleviate the strain on our Emergency Departments.

In Chatham-Kent, there are several options for walk-in clinic services. Click here for more information: https://www.chatham-kent.ca/livingck/livinginck/healthandwellness/Pages/Walk-in-Clinics.aspx

We thank our patients and families for their patience during this time.
