Welcome to Chatham-Kent Hospice!

At Chatham-Kent Hospice we are here to help families make the most of the time they have together. We are honoured to serve our residents and their families at the most difficult time in their life. We believe that hospice is not about dying – it is about living. Our focus is to help our residents live each day with dignity and honour by providing compassionate, end-of-life care in a home-like setting. Our residential hospice offers 10 private suites designed to perform like a hospital but feel like home. Additional spaces in the hospice include bereavement support area, resource library and meeting rooms. The overall design allows us the flexibility to grow and play a role in developing a centre of learning for healthcare providers and the families of Chatham-Kent. The Chatham-Kent Hospice will:
• support residents as they deal with end-of-life challenges
• offer a loving and supportive atmosphere so family and friends can say good-bye
• deliver specialized care from compassionate staff and volunteers
• provide comprehensive, coordinated hospice care for everyone at no cost
• make available grief counseling and other forms of therapy

💙 The Friends of Chatham Gathering returns for its 7th year on March 7, and everyone is welcome. 💙

Founded by long-time friends Mike Dorner, Howie Morton, and Ray O’Phee, this annual get‑together was created as a way to reconnect on a positive note — not just at funerals or celebrations of life. Now, it’s grown into a warm, community-wide reunion open to Chathamites near and far.

🎶 What to expect:
• A free, friendly gathering at the KBD Club (34 Byng Ave., Chatham)
• Donations collected in support of Chatham-Kent Hospice

Whether you’re reconnecting with old friends or meeting new ones, this event is all about community, memories, and celebrating life together. ❤️

Mark your calendars and spread the word — we hope to see you there!
