Kindness, the generous gift

Kindness is a whisper, not a scream from the rooftops. Kindness is quiet, reassuring and comforting. Kindness lives in the places where expectations cannot make a home. Kindness is something we all needed at some point, but often did not receive. But we get to break that cycle. No matter what roads we travelled, we get to be kind in the ways we wished someone would have been for us.

Sunday, March 9 at 2PM in my office in Chatham I am hosting an event about my experiences that eventually turned into The Advocacy Group and what you can do to help people in your life who are struggling with mental health issues. There's a lot of information out there about services regarding mental health issues but it can be challenging to navigate them and see what might be most beneficial for you or a loved one. We offer a variety of services that are custom tailored to each client. Plus we offer events that provide a space for discussion and give a new perspective to help understand each other, such as the one this Sunday.
