Thanks to the incredible response from the first session, we are excited to announce the continuation of the 'Find Your Village' series in partnership with Eleena (Westbrook's Flower Shoppe).

Join us on June 12th for an inspiring evening with keynote speakers Nicole Drew, a pathologist, and Ashlyn Dolbear, a naturopathic medical graduate, as they share their passion for neuro-affirming care. 🩵

Great tips!

Avoid situations where “everyone has to hold hands” as touch and close contact are not nice for everyone.

Today we celebrate our 11th anniversary! It's been a wild ride, to say the least. Every year has been better than the last, but this past year has been especially exciting. We opened a new clinic space and fully embraced the chaos. More importantly, we prioritized supporting our clients in being their authentic selves.

Every single day, our clients astound us. Every single day they remind us that there is so much we don't know.

We are deeply grateful to those who journey with us. It is sometimes challenging, but it is never dull!

Cheers!

Today we celebrate 10 years!! What an amazing journey it has been. Here are some insights we have gained along the way...

1. Everything changes. All the time. Continuous growth and learning are essential. If we stick with what we have always done, or the things that feel comfortable, we run the risk of holding our clients back.
2. Not everything we try works out. Sometimes we try things and we fail epically. Sometimes we find something that truly works. We learn from all of those experiences and we build on them.
3. Not everyone will love our approach. Sometimes we will choose to take a direction that others don't understand and don't approve of. Our clients are diverse and sometimes we have to be a little (or a lot) "fringe" in order to meet their needs and make progress. It is scary to go out on a limb and innovate. Very scary and sometimes isolating. But if we stay in the box because it is safer, many of our clients will suffer for it.
4. Relationship, trust and mental health must be the primary goals for our clients. Without those elements in place, nothing works well.
5. If we as clinicians do not make ourselves vulnerable along with our clients, it is much more difficult to build a trusting therapeutic relationship. We are humans on a journey with other humans. Both parties in the relationship have things to learn and things to teach.

Thank you to our clients, colleagues, friends and families. We are so grateful for your support and encouragement over the past 10 years. We look forward to many more years of fun, connection, learning and innovation!
