This theme highlights the incredible impact nurses have in shaping health care, driving innovation, and advocating for patient-centred care. Visit this web page often for more details on how we’ll be celebrating the dedication and contributions of nurses across Canada.

National Nursing Week serves as an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the hard work and dedication of nurses across Canada and around the world.

We look forward to celebrating with you! Shine a spotlight on the vital role that nurses have in health care by following us on social media and using the hashtags

PSA (May 5): Due to the construction at the front doors of CKHA's Chatham Site, there will be no parking or stopping at the main entrance for about one week (May 5 - 10).

During this week, patients should use the Ambulatory Care or Emergency Department doors for drop-offs and pick-ups.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue working to create a safer, more accessible environment for all patients, families, and staff.

Doctors' Day is May 1. Let’s start the celebration now!

In clinics, emergency departments or on call, doctors are there when it matters most, ensuring patients get the care they need.

Let’s show our gratitude. Reshare this post to say thank you and help us recognize everything Ontario’s doctors do.
