🌸Last week at our residence, we embraced Spring Sensory Week—a fun and engaging journey for the senses 🌸

Recreation Director Marissa guided us through a series of unique, blindfolded experiences that encouraged everyone to tap into smell, sound, taste, and touch in a whole new way. From identifying familiar scents to exploring different textures and enjoying tasty surprises, each day brought laughter, curiosity, and meaningful moments.

We wrapped up the week with a relaxing hand spa day, the perfect way to unwind and reflect on such a memorable experience.

What a wonderful way to awaken the mind and celebrate the senses! 💐✨

Yesterday, our Men’s Club, alongside Executive Director Louis, had the pleasure of welcoming guest speaker Scott Currie, Co-Owner of the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers. The men thoroughly enjoyed hearing about Scott’s experiences and insights—it was an engaging and memorable afternoon!⚾

Craft Therapy with our Recreation Director Marissa is drawing bigger and bigger crowds—and we’re discovering more artists with every session! 🎨🌸

These beautiful spring décor vases truly showcase the creativity in our community. One resident went all out, painting a full springtime scene on hers, while another is saving her vase as a special gift for her mom this Mother’s Day. 💐

What wonderful creativity, thoughtful gestures, and talent we get to celebrate every day!

R, S, T, L, N, E… with the category Industrious—our contestants were ready to put their thinking caps on! 🧠💡

Residents took a spin on the wheel, tested their puzzle-solving skills, and had a blast filling in the blanks. From big wins to lots of laughs, it was an afternoon full of fun, friendly competition, and great energy!

Who knew being industrious could be this entertaining? 👏🎉

Easter Egg Hunt Success! 🐣🌷

Our resort was full of excitement this weekend as lots of little hunters set out in search of hidden eggs! From colourful creations at our colouring station to enjoying plenty of sweet treats, it was a joyful celebration for all.

Spring is in the air, and so are some exciting changes here at our community! 🌷✨

Mike, our Manager of Building Services, has been hard at work painting and reimagining our brand-new games room—and it’s coming together beautifully! 🎨🛠️

We’ve ordered a brand-new foosball table and shuffleboard, and we’re relocating our billiards and darts to create one central hub for fun, connection, and friendly competition. 🎱🎯 The space is filled with natural light and offers a beautiful view outside, making it the perfect place for residents to relax and enjoy time together.

We can’t wait to share the finished space with everyone—stay tuned! 😊

This week, our residents had the opportunity to try some delicious treats from Nova Vida Pastelaria Bakery—and it was a hit! 🇵🇹✨

Marissa, our Recreation Director, is bringing a wonderful influence from her Brazilian roots by encouraging residents to step outside the box and try new experiences. From new flavors to shared moments, it’s been so rewarding to see everyone embrace these opportunities with enthusiasm.

It’s safe to say this tasty adventure was enjoyed by many, and we look forward to what we’ll try next!

Today our residents and staff were introduced to a fun new experience — a Seated Latin Dance Class with Amir! 💃🕺

What started as a seated session quickly turned into something even more special, as a few of our residents felt inspired to get up and dance once they found their rhythm. Amir made sure everyone felt included, helping pair up partners and creating a welcoming, energetic atmosphere for all.

It was a wonderful way to start the morning — full of laughter, connection, and a little bit of exercise too!

Thank you so much, Amir, for bringing such joy and energy to our community. We can’t wait to dance again! 🎶

Today we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of Craft Therapy! 🎨🌸

Residents got creative with decoupage on glass plates, designing beautiful spring masterpieces just in time for Easter. A special thank you to Marissa, our Recreation Director, for guiding everyone through such a fun and inspiring activity.

The results were absolutely stunning—full of color, creativity, and springtime cheer! 🌼🐣
