Our home is filled with such wonderful talent! 🎨

Bev, one of our talented residents, recently hosted a scenic painting class, sharing her skills and creativity with neighbours and friends. The featured scene was a beautiful sunset over the water, and everyone did an incredible job bringing it to life.

Volunteering can be incredibly rewarding, and we are excited to introduce one of our newest volunteers, Zack! 👏

Zack joins us every other Tuesday at Chatham Retirement Resort, where he spends time helping our residents with activities, sharing conversations, and bringing plenty of smiles along the way.

Volunteers like Zack make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, and we are so grateful to have him as part of our community.

One of our residents’ favourite outings is heading out for lunch at the Chatham Legion Branch 642! 🇨🇦

Last week’s visit was filled with a delicious meal, plenty of laughter, and so many smiles around the table. These special outings are a wonderful way for residents to connect, share stories, and enjoy time together in the community.

Our resident Jim Kelly stopped by with a very special treasure — a copy of his daughter’s book, Do Not Turn the Page! His daughter is not only a dedicated teacher but also a published author, and Jim couldn’t wait to share his bragging rights with all of us.
It’s always inspiring to see the incredible accomplishments of our residents’ families. Jim’s pride says it all — and we’re proud right along with him! ❤️

February is Black History Month, and we were honoured to welcome Josh from the Chatham-Kent Black Historical Society & Black Mecca Museum and Ricky from the Buxton National Historic Site & Museum. They shared incredible knowledge, powerful stories, and important historical facts that truly captivated everyone in attendance.

Our residents always appreciate opportunities to continue learning and expanding their minds. One resident was so inspired by the presentation that they generously donated a copy of Uncle Tom's Cabin as a heartfelt thank you.
