There is not a single pharmaceutical drug you can take that can put you into balance.

Every drug disrupts the normal pathways of signaling and function.

If nature did not make the compound, our physiology does not understand it. Every pharmaceutical out there is altered from its nature intended chemical structure so that it can be patented and turned into a multi-billion dollar revenue stream.

For every intended action of a drug, there is an opposite negative impact. That’s why the disclaimers are full of all the ways your body may become out of balance - erectile dysfunction, fatigue, and possible death…. but at least your blood pressure will be a bit better.

We need to learn how to connect with our intrinsic ability to heal.

Healing is within you. It always has been.

Everything you know about cholesterol is likely untrue.

Nearly all of us have been told LDL is a “bad” cholesterol. It’s just not true. The main antioxidant made by your liver is LDL cholesterol. We have also been told HDL is the “good” cholesterol. HDL is just a carrier for LDL. It's not an antioxidant, LDL is the antioxidant.

The anti-inflammatory (reductant) cholesterol LDL is made by your liver to treat inflammation in your blood vessels – therefore LDL production is a huge asset for a healthy body.

What an extraordinary truth that is and what an extraordinarily devastating truth that we’ve spent the last 40 years developing drugs that potently block our ability to make LDL cholesterol - the main antioxidant in our liver (found in all the statin drugs)

If you get an accumulation of cholesterol in a blood vessel, it’s because you’ve overwhelmed the body's ability to clean out the LDL, not because your liver is making too much anti-inflammatory LDL.

If you are checking your cholesterol panels and you have high LDL it means your liver knows there is inflammation in your body. The last thing you want to do is block it.

Acute inflammation is a beautiful and informative function that is trying to tell us when something is wrong.

There is something I like to call the Golden Ratio of Thrive.

You have a rate of injury in your life and you have a rate of repair.
If they are equal, you simply don’t experience deterioration and disease.

If you injure at a faster rate than you are repairing, you experience aging and develop disorder and disease.

Anything you do that balances out that mechanism and accelerates repair while decreasing the injury, is going to improve the outcome.

So ask yourself, what is the most toxic thing I’m doing to myself today? (It might be a thought process, belief, or insecurity as much as it is a physically toxic injury)

What is the most injurious process I’m participating in today? (Sitting too much, over exercising, over eating, over fasting)

And do ONE thing today to reduce ONE toxin in your life - a relationship, something you are consuming, a behavior …

What is your one thing?

Start there and begin to shift the balance back to repair.

There is a huge misconception about kale.
