Welcome to The Halliday House in Chesley, ON. Our licensed retirement home has been opened since June of 2012, and is striving to better the retirement life of our seniors in the surrounding areas. The Halliday House is a safe and fair priced housing option for seniors. Halliday offers seniors the opportunity to have the privacy of their own living area and the support of staff members who manage
the building, clean, cook meals and plan fun activities. The Halliday House is owned and operated by a registered nurse and has been licensed by the Retirement Home Regulatory Authority since January of 2014. Our rental suites include the option of a couples or singles suite, or if you would like more living space, a single can choose to rent a couples unit. Our units include:
A private bedroom
A private full ensuite bathroom
A walk-in closet or regular closet
A small kitchenette with countertop, and mini-fridge for convenient snacks in the room
Room service for residents wishing to eat in their room rather than the dining room
High 10ft ceilings and large windows
The option of bringing in your own furnishing or having them provided

Our Caring Staff
Renata Peto is the owner and operator of the Halliday House. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree at McMaster University. With her business experience, her role is to ensure that your needs at The Halliday House are being met; provide piece of mind that there is 24/7 staff availability as well as plan fun outings and events. Our house mothers will be available from 7am-9pm to help with cooking, cleaning and daily activities, a registered personal support worker, she will be responsible for helping with any activities of daily living to ensure your accommodations here are relaxing and enjoyable. Our maintenance staff will help with maintaining the building and the beautiful garden and gazebo for your enjoyment.
