Today, on International Nurses Day, and throughout National Nursing Week, we proudly recognize and celebrate the extraordinary nurses at Shoreham and the world who provide compassionate care, comfort and support to our community every day. It's also the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale!

Nursing is more than a profession. It is leadership, advocacy, kindness and dedication in action. Our nurses make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults and families across Nova Scotia.

Thank you to all nurses for the skill, empathy and commitment you bring to your work each and every day.

The residents and staff of Shoreham Village would like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our wonderful volunteers who spend countless hours doing what they love, wether it’s cooking food for our bbq’s, helping with bingo, teaching our residents chair line dancing, art lessons, ukulele, singing music, church, knitting, help with meals, cleaning glasses for the residents, coming in to visit residents who has family that lives far away and so much more. You sure put smiles on all of our faces. Today we held a bbq for these wonderful volunteers to let them know how much they mean to us,
