Using evidence-based strategies, Jenine is dedicated to serving the unique needs of clients. She provides support to families and individuals with a variety of mental health and relationship goals. She can support with gaining insight into the barriers and the solutions. The focus is client driven, and Jenine believes that individuals are the experts in their own lives. She provides a safe place for everyone to have a voice and be heard, and work towards healing, growth, and successful living. Jenine is a graduate of the University of Calgary's Master of Science in Counselling Psychology program, and is registered through the College of Alberta Psychologists. She has focused her counselling career on family work and mental health (e.g., mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, attachment disruption, dysfunctional behaviours, personality, addictions) and specializes in adolescent and parent dynamics. Jenine employs various evidence-based theories and strategies to support families in getting unstuck, improving relationships, and increasing well-being. Her approach to counselling is strength based, and focused on ensuring the provision of quality, family centered/client focused, culturally appropriate, and integrated clinical and educational services. Jenine's stance is one of empathy, acceptance, and genuineness while having respectful curiosity. She emphasizes common goals in family sessions in order to draw on the respective strengths of each family member. She works to tailor treatment to client's specific needs and employs techniques from various modalities as required:

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy
