Public funded naloxone kits can be obtained from any participating pharmacy in Alberta at no cost who wishes to carry.
Pharmasave West Creek is a designated Naloxone dispensing pharmacy as well.
Naloxone saves life because it can quickly restore normal breathing to a person whose breathing has slowed or stopped because of overdosing on opioids medications.
“Naloxone is a lifesaver, like having a fire extinguisher. Hopefully, you will not need it, but it is very important to have it ready in case you do - for yourself or for someone else”.
Hand on the training will give you more learning of opioid overdose symptoms, and comfort for administration with access in crisis.

Sore throat can be Strep A, easily tested, result in 5 minutes.
Strep A can be highly contagious and may pose the risk of complications like abscesses, sinus and ear infections, rheumatic fever, and many others without antibiotics.
