Escutcheons?! What are they?

Ever wonder what that small hole is in an elevator door? It’s a key-hole!

Now, what component is used to make this key-hole? The Escutcheon!

This is usually used for maintenance, an elevator inspection or to rescue someone that is stuck

Available in two designs. Each standard escutcheon is supplied with one (1) push-nut. The “Tuff-Nut” escutcheon features oversized dimensions, one inch of exterior thread and is supplied with a threaded flat washer nut. All escutcheons have an I.D. hole diameter to fit a 3/8 inch key.

Lustre Products’ Escutcheons are available in Aluminum, Brass and Stainless Steel.
