In our INTENTIONAL FLOWERING ERA
Reason No 753 of why we don't miss retail floristry: Every Single Day someone would walk in & announce "ARE YOU READY TO BE CREATIVE?! On the spot. Just make it happen. & we did. & they were happy. BUT we were not. It didn't fill our creative cups. It was forced.
Now, I am well aware that that was the nature of our business. But it wasn't fulfilling. It was exhausting. These days, we get orders & because they are ordered on-line or called in, we chat & discuss! Don't get me wrong, it is a hustle & we are steady...but there is less chit-chat about the weather & more about the creative process & final product!
