YOUR FRIENDLY REMINDER TO GO OUTSIDE πΏ
Holidays after Christmas, for me, are always such a mindf**k π€―
I am beyond excited & ready for a break...BUT my brain thinks "Now it's time to catch up on ALL the things you have neglected since November 15th!" π€¬
So, I make lists. You know, to get things ON paper & OUT of my head.
The lists are long & overwhelming. But, if I check off 5 things a day, it will all get done! It sounds very unappealing. All work & no play, while I am souposto be ON holidays! π€ Something's not right here!
I know myself. I know to schedule hikes, walks & workouts into my day. It's NON-NEGOTIABLE. I get stuck in the "I have to get this done before I can...." NO. Hike first. Then tackle all the things. I have been practicing this for 2.5 years now. Sure, I get off track. But now it isn't for long. I get right back to it. No guilt. No shame. No regrets. π
Talk to yourself in the forest. Give yourself a pep talk! Admire the trees, moss & mushrooms. Listen to your gut, your heart & your mind. I promise you will FEEL better! πΏ
