Writing an article for the March 2024 Newsletter on Charles Whiting Wooster who descends from Eunice (Whitlock) Stebbins on the W09 chart. I can trace Charles' daughter Eliza Ann (Wooster) Smith (1816-1870) through the Smith and Reed families to the Overocker family and am hoping to contact descendants. Anyone in touch with Kay (Reed) Overocker on Facebook?

The W81 family with descent from Thomas & Joan Whatlock (M1560) Rattlesden, Suffolk, England has been updated and now has 202,776 members. The chart is in Ancestral Quest format and a GEDCOM file is available from the Website. This can be viewed by importing the GEDCOM file into a genealogical program.

I have also also completed my most recent project, the cataloguing of Art Cole's book The Descentants of John Whitlock of Fairfield County Connecticut 1624-1658 (about 300 pages). This adds Art's years of research into the W09 family to our files and the Whitlock database. This added about 40 pages to the W09 chart. The latest version is now available from the website

I have just completed the annual update of the matches for the 501 members of the Whitlock DNA project. I started on Dec.4!! I added the name Whatlock to the matches this year and this added a great amount of detail to the W81 family. I am currently at 175,100+ members for this chart. The June 2021 Whitlock Family Newsletter will be mainly devoted to the Whatlock family. If any members wish to know more detail about their matches. Update your Whitlock and Whatlock matches and let me know if you have questions.

I am about 1/4 of the way through the 488 members of the Whitlock DNA project. I am checking for new matches and adding the Whatlock family this year. The descendants of Thomas & Joan Whatlock married 1560 Rattlesden, Suffolk are detailed on our W81 family. I am creating a Master File for this family by downloading from Family Search and updating with each of the matches I find with the DNA project. I am currently at 130,700+ descendants.

I have just completed adding about 300 Newspaper clippings to the "Newspaper" section of the Whitlock Family Association website. The NPREG pdf document at the beginning of this section is 60 pages and details all our clippings. This document can be download and word searched. This great addition to our collection was sent in by Glenn Whitlock of Hemet, California

On Sunday Jun 14th at 10am PDT we had a Zoom call with 25 descendants of John Whitloke & Agnes dela Beche of Wokingham, Berkshire who were married about 1454. There were participants from Australia, France, England, USA, & Canada. Lots of interesting comments and questions.
