There is an ongoing maintenance issue at the Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre resulting in closure until this afternoon. We have delayed our opening until 12pm today and all morning appointments are being rescheduled. We are here to take your calls if you have any questions regarding your appointment.

Our clinic is temporarily closed for the day due to an alarm issue in the Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre. We hope to be back to our regularly scheduled hours tomorrow morning and we apologize for the inconvenience.

We are excited to say we are finally re-opening our doors to regular in-clinic services, effective Monday, June 15!

We have implemented additional safety protocols to keep our customers and staff safe so you may notice changes such as directional arrows on the floor, plexi barriers at our front desk, clinicians in masks, and plenty of signage with instructions.

Our administrative staff will also be asking screening questions to all persons entering our facility so please let us know if you have been sick or travelling out of country recently so we can arrange more appropriate remote services for you.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming our clients back so please give us a call at 604-792-2141 to book your appointment today!

With our government's announcement yesterday, we are thrilled to be approaching a time very soon where in-clinic services are once again available to the general public!

Currently, in-clinic services remain limited to those clients who require "urgent care". We are also happy to continue to offer Online Telehealth services to all new and existing clients in the comfort of your home. Please check out the video link to see if Telehealth might be appropriate for you, and to find out what some of our clients think so far about this service!

Stay tuned for more information to come very soon as we build our plan for re-opening. The health and safety of our staff and clients remains of utmost importance to us, so we want to be sure that, when the doors open, we proceed in the safest way possible, following the guidelines from our Provincial Health leaders.

Both new and returning clients can now call us at the clinic to set up your virtual appointment with a Physiotherapist, Kinesiologist, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Counsellor, or Nutritionist.

With the health care landscape continuing to rapidly change, we have made the decision at this time to limit our in-clinic services to urgent care cases only.

This means transitioning the majority of our clients to telehealth services where we can stay connected throughout your treatment plan by phone and/or online platforms, while maintaining the government recommended social distancing guidelines.

Telehealth services will begin starting March 20, 2020. If you are an existing client, your therapist will be reaching out to you to discuss whether these services will be appropriate for you. If you are a new client, please contact the clinic so we can discuss the urgency of your care needs, and develop an appropriate plan for you.

Please also note a temporary change in our hours for answering phone inquiries: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time. Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our clients and staff!

These are difficult and challenging times for Canadians and the world at large. We are highly sensitive to the rapidly changing landscape and the potential impact on our clients and employees. We also recognize that we play an important role in securing and supporting the broader health care system in every province. We are working closely with the various health agencies, hospitals and experts to continue to play a positive contributing role in successfully navigating through this pandemic.

The CBI Health pandemic response plan has been active for some time and it is constantly being adjusted and updated to accommodate new developments. Key elements include:

- Ongoing and regular training and support of our health care employees on safe practices
- Ensuring we have the right equipment and supplies to keep clients and employees safe
- Screening and clinical best practices employed throughout our network
- Rapidly expanding virtual care options deployed where appropriate and effective for our clients
- Constant communications with our clients to ensure that they have the right information and that we are listening and responding to their needs

At this time, our clinic remains OPEN. We are working around the clock with our IT team to transition clients to virtual or remote types of care wherever possible to decrease the risk of exposure. However, we strongly feel that access to care remains important, and we are doing our best to maintain this.

The health and safety of our clients and staff is our top priority at CBI Health.

At this time, our clinic remains open for our regular business hours and we have taken several measures in response to the evolving Covid-19 situation.

If you are booking an appointment, please be prepared for a few additional questions as we screen clients to reduce the risk of exposure to our staff and clients.

We have also stepped up our in clinic sanitization protocols in accordance with the BC Centre for Disease Control and the Public Health Agency of Canada to ensure a safe treatment environment.

If you have any questions or concerns, please give us a call. If you do feel the need to cancel your appointment, please give us 24 hours notice whenever possible, to assist us in accommodating other clients who may need appointments.
