Imagine all the notes that you have scattered in your life that tell you, something isn't right with you. Now imagine collecting all those notes to burn in the warmth of a crackling fire. Burn away everything that creates the inner voice that says you aren't good enough. Stop re-reading and expressing the notes that say you can't or shouldn't be happy or feel safe. Tell me your personal limitations and in a place of deep relaxation, we'll burn them away in the peacefulness of a crackling fire to change into something completely different ... as if those messages had never been there at all. Listen to the sounds. I do love helping people with changing their automatic subconscious thoughts, feelings and behaviours, to how they want them to be. I will admit, changing the automatic gut-response and triggers to old trauma and old hurtful messaging, is my absolute favourite. I don't read scripts, but have general stories in my head that I will wrap around all of your personal wants and needs. You are the authority and in an aware trance-state, you will listen to yourself, to respectfully change your own thoughts and feelings based 100% on what you want to know and feel. Have you heard about your shadow self? This refers to the subconscious parts of who we are. It can be repressed, disowned or even stronger parts of ourselves that we don't or won't see, though others often do. Our shadow self runs a lot of the programming that the conscious doesn't understand. "Why do I keep doing that?" is a sign of the shadow self wanting attention. Let's find the beauty and strength of your shadow self. That part hides, but can be found. Look closer. With hypnotherapy, it is so much easier than you might expect.

All self-talk is a hypnosis of repetition. Your automatic response system gets the message. If you repeatedly say "I'm depressed (angry, cold, sleep-challenged," etc.) it becomes MORE true. When sad, if you say, "I am happy," to change it, then you might be telling your subconscious, this feeling is happy, or you might be telling yourself an obvious untruth.
All-day today, say "It benefits me..." and see how your automatic response system responds. Correct your own self-talk pattern phrases like these below...
I'm depressed.... It benefits me to be happy
He makes me mad .. It benefits me to maintain my inner calm
I need chocolate... It benefits me to eat healthy
I can't sleep...it benefits me to sleep peacefully at night
These and many more phrases are used to supplement trance state work at Lakeside Hypnotherapy because your self-talk patterns are so very important. Use this one phrase, all-day long, with the things you say to yourself or about yourself. Turn around every thought, that could use more positive motivation.

The enhancement of sound mixed with voice, makes the senses of the creative mind, come alive. Sometimes, the heightened senses feel more real than real life. I hope, if you haven't yet experienced this with me, you soon will. ZOOM is just as good as in-office. All you need, is a good set of headphones, preferably that plug in and preferably over the ear, though other things work too. I am happy to say, weight loss, and trauma issues, make the biggest changes for most people. It's the easiest way to change mind patterns. Just sit back, and dream it away, in a way that feels like it has always been, this new way.
